About this riding club
This riding club is in Nara Prefecture. It offers a wide range of introductory riding courses, including a course exclusively for solo participants, a step-up riding lesson, and health-focused introductory riding for people starting in their 50s and 60s. Advanced riders can also work toward qualifications or take show-jumping lessons. Most of the club’s horses are Thoroughbreds retired from racing. Retirement does not immediately make a racehorse ready for riding; various forms of training are required. Crane offers a “New Horse Training” program where you can experience this process. By understanding movements arising from the horse’s nature and instincts, riders patiently train it to perform the movements required of a riding horse.
