Riding is a sport anyone can enjoy according to their strength and athletic ability, regardless of age or gender. The club describes it as offering substantial therapeutic and fitness benefits.

Even beginners can enter competitions!
You can participate in show jumping and dressage events suited to your level. The club also trains athletes for the National Sports Festival.

- Members of Kanazawa Riding Club can take the Japan Riding Club Association proficiency examinations (Grades 5–1).
You may start with any examination from Grade 5 to Grade 3.
Grade 2 and above can be transferred to a Japan Equestrian Federation Class B license.
Japan Equestrian Federation rider qualifications
The club also conducts Japan Equestrian Federation examinations from Class C to Class B.
