About this riding club
This riding club in Osaka offers a wide variety of introductory courses, including solo-participant sessions, enhanced riding lessons and health-focused riding for people starting in their 50s or 60s. Advanced riders can pursue licenses and take jumping competition lessons. Most horses at the club are retired Thoroughbred racehorses. They cannot become riding horses immediately after racing retirement, but need various forms of training. Crane offers a program called New Horse Training that lets participants experience this process. By understanding behavior arising from horses' temperaments and instincts, participants patiently train them to perform the movements needed for riding.
