About this riding club
CLUB RIO began as a small, hand-built place for horses and people in Kohoku, Saga.
Having loved horses since childhood, I was deeply impressed on visiting Ireland at age 19 by horses living freely and coexisting with people.
That culture shock became my starting point. Horses and people can connect heart to heart.
I hope to create a place in nature-rich Kohoku where more horses can spend the rest of their lives in peace.
Through ongoing activities centered on horses, CLUB RIO explores their potential in modern society and creates new ways for horses and people to relate.
