About this riding club
On the largest island in Fukuoka Prefecture,
a 60,000-square-meter ranch for retired-horse boarding and young-horse development spreads around the windmill observation point and former gun battery on Oshima, Munakata.
It is 15 minutes by ferry from Konominato Port in Munakata.
The island is home to Munakata Taisha Okitsumiya Yohaisho, a component of the World Heritage site “Sacred Island of Okinoshima and Associated Sites in the Munakata Region.”
Surrounded by sea on all sides, this nature-rich World Heritage island gives the horses space to live freely.
