About this riding club
Welcome to Takamiya Riding Park, a riding club surrounded by greenery on expansive grounds of 42,000 (unit unclear in source) in Keihoku Kaminaka-cho, Ukyo-ku, Kyoto. Whether you want your first riding experience, serious equestrian training, a ride with a staff member leading your horse, or a carriage tour of the park, Takamiya Riding Park offers it all!
Admission to meet the horses is free, and horse treats are available, so everyone can feel closer to these animals. All this is possible thanks to the park’s full-scale facilities. There is no age restriction: enjoy yourself with family, friends, a partner or on your own. Spending time with animals in nature is wonderfully soothing, while riding can also be a serious sport.
