Why not enjoy a leisurely ride amid Hokkaido’s magnificent nature?
At Canadian Camp Hokkaido’s Riding Club Leaf, you can feel the rhythm of nature through the seasons in Hokkaido’s vast forests while enjoying everything from full-scale horse trekking to arena lessons and introductory programs.
The views from horseback are sure to show you what makes riding so wonderful.
Enjoy time for yourself in a natural setting enveloped in greenery.
You do not need skills or a license to ride here. What you need is a heart ready to enjoy horses.
Our obedient, intelligent and well-trained horses enable beginners, children and older visitors to ride safely.

Visits are by reservation, so days without bookings may become rest days for the horses. Please reserve or inquire in advance.
Riding activities
- Introductory riding
- Course A: JPY 3,850 (approximately 20 minutes)
Course B: JPY 5,500 (approximately 30 minutes)
Consumption tax included; sports insurance is an additional JPY 200. - Non-member riding
- Arena riding (30 minutes): JPY 7,700 weekdays; JPY 8,800 Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays
Trail riding (60 minutes): JPY 13,200 weekdays; JPY 14,300 Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays - Trail riding
- Ikoro Forest course (60 minutes): JPY 11,000 weekdays; JPY 12,100 Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays
Charcoal Forest course (90 minutes): JPY 16,500 weekdays; JPY 18,150 Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays
Owl Forest course (120 minutes): JPY 22,000 weekdays; JPY 24,200 Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays
Mountain River Forest course (180 minutes): JPY 33,000 weekdays; JPY 36,300 Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays
