A distinctive feature of trekking here is starting by going to meet the horse you will ride. This course includes a short trek to the lakeshore and suits young children, small groups and those wanting a brief experience. Children 90 cm tall or shorter may join together with an adult for an additional JPY 1,000.
Horse Encounter Lake and Forest Stroll course

Besides bringing your horse in from the pasture, receive careful instruction on putting on the saddle and other equipment. The path through the forest down to the lake is the farm’s most popular course. Your horse may stop for a drink at the lakeshore. Children 90 cm tall or shorter may join together with an adult for an additional JPY 1,000.

Prepare your horse yourself from the beginning, including grooming such as brushing, giving both horse and rider more time to relax. The longer trek circles the farm, with plenty to see by the lake and in the forest. Beginners and experienced riders can enjoy it at leisure.
Cherry Blossom course — reservation required, available only during the bloom
Operates only while cherry blossoms are flowering, usually mid- to late May. Approximately 90 minutes, JPY 7,000. A special program during the Ezo mountain cherry bloom. The basic content is the same as the Wild course, but the trek follows the cherry-lined route toward Wakoto Peninsula. Blossoms usually appear in mid- to late May, and this plan is available for only about a week before they fall. Please enquire about operation. In 2017 it ran May 13–19. - Led rides
