About this riding club
Lake Toya Ranch is a guest ranch specializing in horse trekking, approximately two hours by car from Sapporo and roughly halfway between Sapporo and Hakodate. Its attraction is spectacular panoramic scenery overlooking Lake Toya, Mount Usu and Showa-Shinzan.
Authentic mountain courses offer a full experience for beginners and experienced riders alike. In August 2009, the area containing Lake Toya Ranch was registered as the Toya–Usu Global Geopark, among Japan’s first Global Geoparks.

Demanding winter riding: Winter Adventure
A dramatic special course that best captures the character of Lake Toya Ranch. Experience Hokkaido’s winter to the fullest. After heavy snowfall, it becomes like a rodeo course! Determination and stamina required. Ski clothing is mandatory.
