About this riding club
A riding club in Yurihonjo, Akita Prefecture.
We are committed to 24-hour turnout, day and night, so horses can live without stress in a way close to their natural lifestyle.
Our chief instructor spent many years at a racehorse development farm in Hokkaido and, as farm manager, raised horses that ran in the Derby and Oaks. The club’s philosophy is “exploring possibilities through horses.”
Yuri Kogen Horse Park aims to be an approachable club where anyone can easily enjoy riding, from beginner led rides to horse trekking for advanced riders.
Even without riding, you can interact with horses through activities such as feeding.
You can even fulfill a dream of riding freely across grassland.
A distinctive feature is that non-member visitors from the Tokyo metropolitan area and around the world outnumber members.
