About this riding club
Tono Uma no Sato is a facility for raising and training racehorses and riding horses in Tono, Iwate Prefecture.
Horses have long been treasured by farming households in the Tono area, contributing to local life and the development of industry and the economy.
The region is also known as one of Japan’s leading horse-breeding areas and has produced many outstanding horses.
Today, the facility offers opportunities to interact with horses while responding to changing needs.
A wide range of plans lets anyone, from small children to older adults, easily enjoy time with horses.
Interaction experiences with ponies and riding horses are available.
Food is not served, but a clubhouse rest facility is open to riders and visitors.
