About this riding club
A riding facility in Takizawa, Iwate Prefecture.
As a park with horses, it operates to encourage a wide range of uses, including education, welfare, equestrian promotion and tourism.
Have you heard of Chagu Chagu Umakko, Iwate’s proud nationally designated Important Intangible Folk Cultural Property?
Many tourists come from inside and outside the prefecture, but normally can only watch the procession from the roadside.
At this facility, however, visitors can ride a Chagu Chagu Umakko horse, wear traditional costumes and try led rides, enjoying a special experience available only here.
There are also many pony-led-ride, carriage-ride and walking experiences popular with young children.
A horse sponsorship system is offered, and visitors can experience farm tasks such as brushing and stall cleaning.
