About this riding club
Wakuwaku Farm Maemori Kogen offers riding experiences in the natural highlands of Yamagata.
Among its many riding options, the most popular is horse trekking, which lets you experience the magnificent natural surroundings with your whole body.
The trail-riding package includes a lesson, making it a popular choice even for first-time riders.
After a simple lesson on a calm horse trained for trail riding, you explore Maemori Kogen.
The Grade 5 Western riding license course is also recommended for learning the basics and how to communicate with horses.
For young children, caring for ponies by brushing them and giving them treats creates an environment where they can become completely comfortable with horses.
