About this riding club
This riding facility for people with disabilities is in Yamagata City, Yamagata, and is described as one of only a few such valuable facilities in Japan.
It keeps four horses and provides riding activities for people with a range of disabilities.
Through the many people who meet here, it aims to create a space where horses help spread smiles among local residents and participants.
It is also frequently used by outside groups for school events and recreation.
The emotional benefits and improvements in physical function seen through riding have attracted a strong response from a variety of people.
Off-site riding visits are also available; please see the website for details.
