About this riding club
A riding club in Miyagi Prefecture.
A wide variety of introductory courses is available, including a solo-participant option, a step-up riding lesson, and health-oriented riding experiences for people starting in their 50s or 60s.
Advanced riders can also work toward riding qualifications or take jumping lessons.
Most horses at the club are retired Thoroughbred racehorses.
Retiring from racing does not immediately make a horse ready for riding; various types of training are needed.
Crane offers a program called “New Horse Training,” where you can experience this training.
By understanding horses’ nature and instinctive movements, participants patiently train them to perform the movements required of riding horses.
