About this riding club
A friendly, historic English-style riding club in Takanezawa, Shioya-gun, Tochigi, offering a wide choice of programs for first-time visitors and those wishing to take up riding seriously. Beginners can enjoy a leisurely led ride or learn the fundamentals through introductory riding. Members receive dressage and show-jumping lessons suited to their individual level. Dressage includes movements and figures based on the three gaits: walk, trot and canter. Show jumping involves riding and jumping obstacles in a prescribed order against the clock. Serious practice includes riding courses designed to prepare for competitions.
