About this riding club
A riding club in Oyama, Tochigi, with around 40 gentle horses, including Thoroughbreds, Quarter Horses, Warmbloods and ponies.
It caters to everyone from people touching a horse for the first time to advanced riders.
Lessons involve no more than three horses; with one horse, the lesson is one-to-one, allowing focused learning.
The club also advises people interested in buying a horse from overseas or attending long- or short-term training camps in Germany, a heartland of equestrianism.
A Level 5 riding license course covers horse care, practical riding and textbook lessons.
The club also boards resting horses and provides rest, treatment and rehabilitation.
Trainers and owners have shared many positive comments about how their resting horses relax both physically and mentally in Tochigi’s simple, peaceful surroundings.
