Furari Umagoya

Furari Umagoya

About this riding club

A riding space surrounded by forest on the slopes of Mount Ashiho in Ishioka, Ibaraki. Views include the Tsukuba mountains, and the natural setting is ideal for leisurely riding. A wide range of forest and riverside treks lasting 30–120 minutes caters to beginners and advanced riders. Forest treks offer views of the Tsukuba range and tranquil rural scenery. The riverside course is for experienced riders only: travel about 13 km at walk and trot, with cantering along an approximately 1.2 km stretch of the Koise River embankment. Fields spread around you, with flooded rice paddies before summer and golden rice ears in early autumn, allowing trekking through the changing beauty of a traditional Japanese landscape.
